Join poet, writer and performer Roma Havers for an online adventure delving into creative writing.
Inspired by autobiographical theatre show LOB, this workshop will explore creative ways to bring your own story to life. Exploring prose, poetry and script. No writing experience necessary and there’s no expectation to share any writing with the group.
Places are limited to facilitate a supportive space.
LOB is a theatre and poetry bonanza about moving through sporting spaces as a queer body.
Having been obsessed with this memory for twenty years, now, with her trusty swingball set, Poet and theatremaker Roma Havers once again attempts to serve a LOB.
LOB was originally commissioned as a full show by Queer Contact 2021, which later became a film. LOB, the stage show, premiered at Queer Contact 2022 and later to Outburst festival, Belfast.
