Andro and Eve’s second zine is a collaboration with artist Seleena Laverne Daye. With the pandemic still ongoing, this zine project has been a way to continue to connect the LGBTQ+ community.
Cultivating joy or pleasure is vital. This zine is offered as a way to remind us, particularly as LGBTQ people, of the need to rest and seek pleasure, and to take up space.
Seleena has curated and designed this unique collection of creative works, bringing voice to a range of LGBTQ+ people in the North of England and sharing the things that bring them joy. It also features specially commissioned pieces by Ruby Ann Patterson and Holly Casio.
Joyful Noise zine is offered for free in recognition of our belief that we should all have access to culture and community. However, if you are able, we would encourage you to add a donation at checkout. 75% of all donations will be donated to the Radical Therapist Network’s QTIBPOC Therapy fund. The remainder helps support our mission to support LGBTQ+ artists and celebrate queer culture.
You can find out more about this fund and make further contributions through the RTN Go Fund Me.
This zine has been made possible through funding from the National Lottery Awards for All.
Given the popularity of this zine, we are now limiting orders to one per person, in order that the queer joy is fairly shared. Thanks for your understanding.
Please note; post days in the run up to Christmas 2021 are twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. Your order will be posted on the Tuesday or Friday after you order. If you need your item more swiftly, please get in touch. Thank you for your understanding.
Last post day before Christmas is the 17th December. Please order by 6pm 16 December to make the post!
