Drag King Workshop Weekend

We've created Yorkshire's biggest drag king cabaret, The Kingdom Come, and now we're very excited to be assembling the dream team of drag king LoUis CYfer, theatre director and academic Natalie Diddams, and Andro & Eve Artistic Director, Katherine Warman, to share skills in fun and active workshops to help you develop a drag king character. The two day practical course on the 9th - 10th November will explore gender as performance, character development, comedy improvisation, alongside technical and performance skills in mansformation.

No performance experience is necessary to attend these workshops, but you'll benefit most from a willingness to get involved and readiness to perform in front of others. It is expected you will attend both days of training in order to get the most from this course and develop your drag king character fully.
