This session is designed to deepen participants’ knowledge, further increasing the confidence of participants to support transgender, non-binary and gender minoritised people in professional and social situations.

Topics covered include language and terminology around sex and gender, intersectionality, the importance of trans stories, and key issues such as gender affirming surgery for adults, gender affirming care for young people and access to sports and gender separated spaces.

This session is aimed at those who have already undertaken any of our Gender Awareness Training sessions or who have already undertaken LGBTQ+ Awareness Training in the last two years.

Each participant will be given their own resource sheet with content covered in the session along with further advice and resources.
